World Drowning Prevention Day

The UK's primary summer water safety campaign, took place from June 13th - 20th of June, led by the Royal Life Saving Society UK, the week targeted children from 5 - 17yrs with essential water safety and lifesaving skills ahead of the summer holidays.

Every year, on the 25th of July, the world marks World Drowning Prevention Day, to raise awareness that drowning deaths are preventable and to promote proven actions that can save lives.

More than 90% of drowning deaths occurr in rivers, lakes, and Wells.

Please make sure your child is not a statistic, supervise your children at all times, especially by the River.
